Dear Reader! We would like to draw your attention to the fact that inflation is already very significant in Hungary.
We have prepared a comparison base for you that reflects economic conditions well. On the side image, you can see a store in Germany, which can also be found in Hungary. The other picture shows the same store's promotion in Hungary. The same product is cheaper in Germany than in Hungary. if you don't believe me, let's do some math. German price per kg. 2.70 euros, the same apple costs HUF 1,165 in Hungary by 22%. Today's exchange rate of the euro, according to the MNB, is HUF 385.90. if you multiply 2.70, the price of the product sold in Germany comes to HUF 1,042. However, this was not a discount for the Germans, so if we add 22% to the Hungarian price, the price is HUF 1,421. would be Almost HUF 400. the difference means an extra 1 euro for the Hungarians, i.e. the Hungarian price is 3.70 euros! This is only the price of one product, the difference for several products is hundreds of forints! Food is expensive in Hungary not because of the war, but because the Hungarian economy is not working! When will the Hungarians realize that the numbers tell the truth and not the politicians!
