Brutal clashes and roadblocks in the capital!
On Monday and Tuesday night, Paris had a revolutionary atmosphere! The protests over the pension reform continued. Not only on weekends, but also on Monday and Tuesday, there were huge demonstrations all over France. In Paris, protesters built several roadblocks, set garbage on fire and threw it on the roads, thus slowing down traffic.
Garbage has not been delivered in the capital for a week due to the strike. The protesters built barricades in several places and the police tried to break them down. Fights broke out with the police in several places, several people were injured and at least 100 people were detained. Protesters sang French revolutionary songs in the streets. The riot police hit and cut everyone who was on the streets, even those who were just watching or mixing with the crowd.
The unions are calling people for a general strike and want Macron to withdraw the dictatorially introduced increase in the retirement age.
