Finland would give planes to Ukraine

It would be at least 62 F/A-18 Hornet fighters!

The Finnish government, along with other allies, is considering supplying Ukraine with F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets. Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin said such a discussion could be on the agenda in Finland, especially as the country buys the latest fighter jets instead of the current ones.
"I think we could discuss the Hornet fighter jets - whether they can be offered to Ukraine, what kind of preparation is needed for that," Marin said.
He said that the decision to send fighter jets to Ukraine should be made jointly with the Western allies. There are currently 62 F/A-18 Hornet fighters in service in Finland. Finland has ordered 64 state-of-the-art F-35 fighter jets from the United States to replace them. They will enter the inventory of the Finnish Air Force in 2025.
Of course, he would not give it to Ukraine all at once, but continuously until 2025, as the Americans deliver the planes. However, with a separate agreement, America can decide that the Finns will receive the F-35 fighters sooner for the sake of a good deed.
