More than 500,000 people took part in the movement!
In France, a demonstration was organized in the capital on Thursday, February 16, that hundreds of thousands of citizens will take to the streets in the fifth week of the protest against the new pension reforms.

According to the CGT union, more than 500,000 people protested in Paris during the demonstration. There have been strikes across the country since January, when President Emmanuel Macron proposed raising the retirement age to 64 by 2030.

France, along with some other EU countries, has the lowest retirement age. The French state spends nearly 14 percent of its economic performance on pensions.

The most recent reform in 2011 raised the retirement age from 60 to 62.
It is not yet known why the government did this, since unemployment is significant in the country.
With this measure, you will further stimulate unemployment and give space to black workers!
