About a thousand people took part in the movement!
During the march, they also passed by the future factory area, and when they arrived in Debrecen, not only the locals protested, but demonstrators also came from other parts of the country, such as Göd, Fót and Iváncsa, which were also affected by the built or planned similar factories.
The most important demand was the calling of a referendum on Saturday. In mid-January, the public hearing, where local people worried about their environment tried to get meaningful answers from the Fidesz leadership, turned out to be scandalous.
The government is subsidizing the construction of the factory with huge billions, however, according to public opinion, that money should be spent on something else at the moment, since a multinational has a lot of money. Build it elsewhere and with your own investment, not with people's money!
